Regent College held its joint annual Careers Convention with QE college in April 2013.
25 Exhibitors attended representing careers areas such as Apprenticeships, Engineering, Finance, Health and Gap years opportunities, and more.

The University of Leicester visited Regent College this term to put Business students through their paces.
Twelve level 3 diploma students took part in the Dragon’s Den style competition: Entrepreneurs of the Future Business Ideas.
Leicester City Colleges Varsity
April 2013
On Wednesday the 17th of April 2013 the four Leicester City Colleges; QE, Regent, Gateway and Leicester College, met at the University of Leicester Sports Centre to take part in Varsity, a multi-sports day event with tournaments in men’s and women’s 5 aside football, men’s basketball, men’s and women’s badminton, men’s cricket and mixed volleyball.
Regent Students Test Their Fears

Kajal Grant, Ryan Bray, Omar Butt and Karl Hastings, four of Regent College’s Sports Ambassadors, were selected by Alice Kempski, the College Sport Maker, to attend the 2013 Cooperative StreetGames Young Volunteers (CSYV) residential trip this Easter holidays.
Anthony Nolan Trust Event at Regent
Students of Regent College are set to lead an event in partnership with the Anthony Nolan Trust, to encourage young people to help cure blood cancer by signing up to the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register. The event takes place on 26th April and students are also working with the Rik Basra Leukaemia campaign, the charity set up by Leicestershire police inspector Rik Basra, who received a lifesaving bone marrow transplant 18 months ago. Deputy City Mayor Rory Palmer is also backing the event and is encouraging young people to get involved.

Students get a Taste for “What’s to Come” at the Sport & Activity Fair

February 2013
Regent College students took part in a range of different activities on 7th February at Review day last week. This day is used for students to meet their teacher or personal supervisor and discuss their progress and key targets. The Sport & Activity fair that ran alongside this, organised by newly appointed College Sport Maker, Alice Kempski, was designed to launch the beginning of her efforts to help get Regent College onto the sporting map.
Regent College Set the Tone at the Leicester Colleges Indoor Cricket Competition

February 2013
Regent College have entered two teams into the Leicester Colleges Indoor Cricket Competition which will be taking over the next 5 weeks. This is organised by Leicestershire and Rutland cricket and involves teams from Regent and other Colleges in the region.
Regent students attend International Space Olympics 2012

October 2012
This year a team of 10 students from two Leicester colleges, two students from Regent College: Sema Ikleriya and Nathaniel Makuwi, and eight students from Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth I College, travelled to Korolyov, near Moscow, the centre of Russia’s Space Industry, to compete in the International Space Olympics 2012.
